With fewer than 5,800 miles on it, this three-year-old R nineT is barely broken in by our reckoning. Riding it, you’ll believe it’s brand new. Last fall the bike’s previous owner brought it to his local dealer for a 6K routine maintenance ahead of schedule, then put about 500 more miles on it before bringing it to us for trade. Of course, to make it fully ready for sale, our BMW Master Certified Technicians thoroughly checked all its performance functions and safety factors. They chose to give it some additional care in the form of a brake fluid renewal and NEW TIRES front and rear. Our techs always put in an extended test ride to be sure everything is right where the rubber meets the road, then put it through the rigorous Maryland State Inspection, which it passed, of course! Finally, the bike was handed over to our professional detailer who cleaned and polished it to its final deep Black Storm Metallic glory. What you see now is a bike that not only runs marvelously, it is cosmetically superb. Look very closely and you may notice the one minuscule cosmetic flaw it has: a teensy nick on the clutch lever where bare metal is visible through the black paint. Beyond that, we found nothing else that would suggest the previous owner treated this machine with anything besides care and respect. Used bikes simply don’t come in better condition than this one, folks.
