Whatever it may be, THIS machine has a lot to offer. It was sold originally at Bob’s in August 2017, and has been serviced exclusively at Bob’s as well. Its only owner didn’t get to ride it as often as he would have liked, but the bike was always garaged during its idle times. This machine came from BMW outfitted with the Premium and Dynamic factory option packages which include these excellent features: Ride Modes Pro, ASC (Automatic Stability Control), ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), On Board Computer, Heated Grips, Center Stand, LED Fog Lights, and the Anti-theft Alarm System. Its previous owner went further to install a few other goodies: BMW Engine Protection Bars, which are mated to Touratech Upper Protection Bars, a Touratech Skid Plate, and a Touratech Side Stand Foot Enlarger. As its next owner, you might consider adding BMW’s great Adventure Aluminum Luggage to complete your travel outfit. When you do, you’ll be glad to know the mounting bracket system for it is already on the bike.
This GS is in amazingly great condition. The Catalano Grey bodywork combined with the black engine, frame, and other surfaces makes for a stunningly handsome look. When this bike arrived, our evaluation team made note of a few minor scuffs and scratches — all very small signs of normal use. But after our in-house pro detailer did his magic on it, you can barely detect ANY flaws! The only things you’ll notice – on close examination – are a couple of light scratches on the lower right-side engine guard and a very minor scuff on the right handguard. (You guessed it. A tip-over. There’s no escaping it!) But that’s it. Otherwise, this bike looks like it’s BRAND NEW!
On the maintenance side, we gave the bike a full Bi-Annual Service — a complete diagnostic check, engine oil and filter change, and brake fluid change, and also a complete chain service. And because the bike sat in the garage unused for the better part of a year, we gave it a thorough fuel system treatment to chase out the gum and ghosts that tend to follow old gasoline around. The previous owner had recently installed a NEW Battery and it remains in excellent condition. The tires on the bike are also excellent and have better than 90% of their life left to give. Finally, after a very thorough safety inspection and an extended test ride to double check that each system and component was functioning at or above BMW’s factory specifications, we ran it through the tough Maryland State Inspection process. No question, this bike runs perfectly and has nothing but spunk to liven up all the great rides you’re going to have together.
This F800GS Adventure comes with two keys, the original owner’s books, and the factory tool kit.
