We know the previous owner of this motorcycle very well. He bought it new at Bob’s, and serviced it here exclusively — always on schedule. So when he brought the bike in for trade, our guys in the Service Department felt like they were getting a visit from an old friend. Being the pure professionals they are, however, they went ahead with their extensive critical evaluation without prejudice. And the results? This machine is in perfect condition inside and out! Seriously, it scored TENs across the board for cosmetics (with the one exception of the hand grips which only rated 8!), and mechanically, it was as if the bike was brand new. Even the tires it came in with still have most of their tread remaining. But they took it out for a rigorous test ride anyway — hoping something would turn up that might require them to work on the bike a little. But nope. Naturally, it passed Maryland Inspection without a snag of any kind. Our detailer did have to spend a good ten minutes cleaning some dirt from the underside of the fenders and a bug or two out of the radiator grill, but other than that, only a final polish was needed to make its distinctive Cordoba Blue paint job glisten like a newborn.
