This extremely handsome R1200RT is a 90th Anniversary Special Edition model. It is also a very Special Opportunity. The bike has been loved and well cared for, and as you can see, looks great. Of course, it has been fully serviced and stands in tip-top mechanical condition, ready to roll. So, you may be wondering, why is it being offered at Thousands of Dollars BELOW market value? Well, there is some interesting history to this bike. Part of it is that we have bought and resold it two times already, and both of those previous owners – who were new to BMWs – enjoyed it so much they brought it back to trade for new bikes. But there is more to the story which you can read below. OR… you can decide right now to claim this very special opportunity, to be that “third time’s a charm” buyer. Act FAST! Come in to see this bike for yourself and take a TEST RIDE. Call 1-888-269-2627 to speak with one of our BMW Certified Sales Advisors — Jim, Todd, or Kyle. But do it TODAY!

The BMW RT models are known worldwide as the best sport touring motorcycles made. Now here’s the reason this incredible machine with all its desirable features is priced so affordably low. This R1200RT has a “branded” title. We have the title in hand and will have no problem titling it in the next owner’s name, however it is branded as a REBUILT title. We believe that at some point in this machine’s life, it was rear ended. Apparently, this resulted in a small tweak to the rear sub frame along with some undetermined cosmetic damage. Thus, the bike was “totaled” by the insurance company due to the cost of repairs (mainly the subframe). The bike was then bought from the insurer by a motorcycle repair shop and rebuilt with OEM parts. The cosmetics are now very strong as you can see and there is no sign of any damage from the collision incident except, if you look very closely, you can see the small bend in the subframe. It is hardly apparent and you would have to be specifically looking for it to notice. Our Service Team has gone to great lengths to verify the safety and mechanical integrity of this motorcycle, and we can say with absolute assurance that any residual faults this bike may have are completely cosmetic and have no effect on its ride, handling, or safety. We want to be 100% transparent about this bike’s history and unique circumstances — and why it is priced accordingly. Of course, you may still want to know more details and we will be happy to provide them. The bike deserves your full scrutiny and we encourage you to come and look for yourself. And RIDE it!

When we acquire any pre-owned BMW for resale, the first thing we do is send it to our service department where our Certified Master Technicians give it a total top-to-bottom examination. Every system and component is looked at carefully. Of course, we already knew about this bike’s history, and our service team has been doing its maintenance on behalf of its previous two owners. In fact, the bike had been visited us for routine service only a short time ago. The specific work we have just done now for its pre-sales processing included changing engine oil & filter, flushing and renewing front and rear brake fluid, replacing the rear brake pads, replacing the valve cover gasket on the left side to address a small leak. Additionally, we adjusted, tightened, and tweaked numerous other bits as necessary and in keeping with our overall care and preparation. Then, we took it for an extended test ride it to prove its full safety and performance integrity. Finally, we put it through the rigorous Maryland State Inspection where it passed glowingly. In the end, we can confidently affirm that, mechanically, this machine is absolutely solid gold and good to go the distance.

Our detailer did an amazing job of cleaning and shining this bike. (He’s a guy, by the way, who cleans in places you didn’t even know were places!) While there’s no question that this is, overall, a fine-looking motorcycle, it does reveal some noticeable cosmetic wear upon closer examination. Most of it is typical for a machine of this age and mileage — a few small scratches here and there, and tiny chips from rocks and normal road wear. Its most noticeable blemishes, however, are the result of a minor fall on the left side. Notice the scratches on the lower edge of the valve cover, on the side case lid. These are clearly visible in the photos. There are also scratches on the outer edges of the rider peg and passenger floorboard which aren’t as visible. It’s our opinion that none of these cosmetic issues is serious enough to detract from your pride of ownership; but you will need to decide that for yourself. And the only way to know is to come in and LOOK for yourself — but please do it quickly! This beautiful bike is an exceptional BARGAIN that will certainly not last long on our floor.
