This bike was sold new here at Bob’s BMW almost exactly 10 years ago and its one and only owner rode it well and enjoyed it thoroughly. That makes us smile. But we’re also pleased to report that during all that time the bike was faithfully maintained and well cared for too. So now, back in our showroom a second time, this great looking, beautifully performing and totally road-worthy machine — still in the prime of its youth — is waiting for a smart buyer to snap it up and ride away to new horizons.
The K1300GT is a super sport tourer. It’s as sporty and nimble when being ridden aggressively as it is composed and comfortable on an all-day, long distance ride. Its powerful, 1293 cc, four cylinder in-line, DOHC engine will never leave you wanting for more horsepower as it delivers smooth yet exhilarating performance on any kind of road or highway. The full size, easily removable three-piece luggage system has the capacity to sustain you and a passenger on an extended tour while the aerodynamic bodywork provides all the protection you need from the elements.

Of course the bike received the full treatment in our service department, starting with a top-to-bottom safety and performance evaluation. It needed very little; simply new rear brake pads, a new rear tire (a new front tire was installed about 6 months ago by the previous owner and not too many miles put on it since) and a routine Annual Service which includes an engine oil and filter change among other things. Naturally, we took it for an extended test ride for seat-of-the-pants verification of its capabilities, and finally a tough Maryland State Inspection to give it the official seal of approval. This bike purrs and is yearning to prove it to you.
Cosmetically, the bike is in equally excellent condition. That Red Apple Metallic paint is sure to become the apple of your eye. On our initial inspection the only flaws we recorded were a slight scratch on one side case, another on the fairing, and another on one mirror. All of those became just barely noticeable after our detailer went to work deep cleaning and polishing to revive any luster that might have faded in ten years. As we said, the bike had always been well cared for and it shows. Now it is in remarkably good condition and there is nothing whatsoever about the appearance of this motorcycle to diminish your pride of ownership.
This K1300GT comes with two keys, original owner’s books, and factory tool kit. And because it is in such excellent condition, this bike is a Bob’s BMW Advantage Certified Bike.
