The previous owner of this motorcycle is a long-time favorite customer at Bob’s. It was purchased new at Bob’s and got most of its service done here too. It was faithfully maintained and we have the records to show for it. Just as importantly, the owner took great care of it as well. When the bike came back in for trade we ran it through our usual complete evaluation process and it earned top scores in every category. To prepare it for sale, we performed a Bi-Annual Service which includes engine oil and filter change, brake fluid flush & refill, and engine coolant flush & refill. We also replaced the rear brake rotor which had reached its wear limit, and replaced front and rear brake pads. The tires were fresh and barely worn and have lots of life left in them. But to enhance their performance and continued lifespan we filled them with nitrogen. We took it for a thorough, extended test ride following its maintenance to ensure all systems and components performed properly and safely, at or above all factory specifications.
We performed the stringent Maryland State Inspection process on it, which of course it passed with no issues. And lastly, our in-house pro detailer took the bike into his voodoo cave where he performs some type of ritual magic. (Even if we knew what top secret techniques he uses, we wouldn’t be allowed to tell you!) Anyway, the result is pure alchemy. How else do you explain a bike with 36,000+ miles on it that suddenly comes out looking almost like new? Take a close look for yourself. You will see some surface patina on the head pipes (inevitable), minor scuffs on the saddlebag lids (almost unavoidable), and maybe a couple more tiny nicks here and there. Other than that, however, if you’re able to find any minuscule evidence of a previous life on this bike, we’re pretty sure it won’t be enough to bother you. This is a fine machine in every respect, and one you can ride away on with grinning pride and complete confidence.
Being fully serviced and in such great cosmetic and mechanical condition this F650GS is a Bob’s BMW Advantage Certified Bike. That means that, as its next owner, you are entitled to a service loaner at no charge on your first visit, plus significant discounts on a Tire and Wheel Policy and/or a Vehicle Service Contract from Zurich, and if either policy is purchased, the no-cost service loaner benefit would continue for the full time period of the policy. The bike comes with 2 keys and the factory tool kit. Contact one of our certified BMW sales advisors TODAY!
