Description
Here’s a quick overview of this running, cosmetically clean Kawasaki Versys 650 PROJECT BIKE. If you want to know more RIGHT NOW, then call 1-888-269-2627 to speak with one of our BMW Certified Sales Advisors — Paris, Jim, or Todd. Call TODAY!
As with all PROJECT BIKES we want buyers to know as much as possible about the bike before making a purchase. We’ve nothing to hide and our only goal is that the new owner for each and every PROJECT BIKE feels they paid fairly and got a good, if not great value in the deal. We encourage people to call, schedule a time to meet with one of our sales advisors and inspect each machine in person so they fully understand all the positives as well as the potential downsides involved in the refurbishing process.

This bike has LOW miles and is in overall good condition. It just needs someone to give it some Love! It needs front and rear tires, full fluid service and we would recommend a thorough chain service – possibly a full replacement of chain and sprockets. There is less than 50% tread left on the tires plus some dry rot. This is a PROJECT BIKE that’s safe to test ride but the tires should definitely be replaced right away by the new owner. We installed a NEW BATTERY in it and started it up. It ran well and there were no indications of mechanical problems.
Cosmetically the bike is in really good shape, though not without some flaws. From a few paces back — and even in these photos — the bike looks nearly perfect. But on closer inspection you will see that it had tipped over on the left side. There are some paint scratches on the upper fairing panel, the clutch lever is broken, the bar-end is scratched, and the left mirror, shift lever, lower fairing and grab rail all show minor damage as well. Was it crashed? We don’t think so, and we’d definitely say so if there was any evidence of it. But there are no other signs of more serious damage that would indicate a crash — and we looked really hard to find it. No, the blemishes on this PROJECT BIKE are all superficial.
At our asking price (almost $1,500 under the average asking price) this PROJECT BIKE is a great deal for someone who would rather invest their time and effort than money. Especially if pristine appearances aren’t so important to you, just give this bike new tires and a modicum of routine maintenance and it’s a bargain ready for prime time!
