For those long distance riders who savored power over posh, the Ninja-based power plant’s serious horsepower was guaranteed to put the SPORT in sport-touring. In 2009, with some significant redesign and improvements, the Concours 14 brought the model up to date with a fresh look and a host of technical upgrades. Still very fast — but now smoother, better handling, and much more comfortable to ride for longer periods. And still a bargain! This bike comes with all those benefits, and though it may not be the freshest looking bike on our showroom floor, it wears its patina well. This machine is in fine condition despite some unfortunate tip-over scratches. More importantly, it’s the performance that counts and this one is still growling, ready to make the coast-to-coast run in record time — with you in the saddle. What about that legendary Concours Bang-for-the-Buck? Don’t worry. We’ve priced this one so you’ll get that too!

Cosmetically, this bike is overall an 8.5 to 9. Look closely and you will certainly see signs of use typical of a machine of this age and mileage. There are scratches from tip-overs, maybe a few more than normal, particularly on the saddlebag lids, on the lower leading edges of the fairing lowers on both sides, and of course the mirror housings. The most noticeable problem is that the right-side saddlebag lid has a crack in it (see photo). Other than that, however, there’s nothing seriously wrong; no other glaring flaws. This bike looks GOOD, even if it no longer looks brand new. Maybe that’s because the gorgeous deep burgundy metallic paint still has the luster to quicken your pulse. But let’s face it, what Kawasaki buyers are looking for to quicken their pulse is HIGH-PERFORMANCE. We can promise you this machine will not disappoint!
You will be glad to know that this Concours has received a thorough maintenance workout in our Service Department. That includes: Oil and Oil Filter changed, Brake Fluid changed, a new battery Quick-Connect lead was installed, and a Fuel System Treatment applied. Best of all, we mounted NEW TIRES — Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT, front and rear. Then we took it for a rigorous road test to be SURE all its safety and performance functions were, uh… up to speed, so to speak. A full cleaning and detailing was done after that, and finally, a Maryland State Inspection was performed which, of course, it passed without issues. This Concours is ready for the launch pad!
This bike comes with 2 keys with fobs and the factory owner’s manual. The bike is fast, but we have priced it to move even faster. So HURRY if you want to ride like the wind this summer. Contact a Sales Associate at Bob’s TODAY!
