When we received this bike our Service Department went right to work and, as usual, left no stone unturned while examining and analyzing each and every component and function to assure that by the time it reached our sales floor, a buyer could be absolutely assured of its safety, reliability, and total performance at or above factory specs. They determined that it was necessary to replace the clutch & clutch springs, install a new oil overflow vent hose, and adjust the steering head bearings. After that, as a matter of course, the bike got a Bi-Annual Service which involves a full fluid and filter change including coolant and brake fluid. Tires as delivered by the previous owner were still fairly young and had plenty of safe tread remaining. The battery also measured strong, as it had also been recently installed and always kept on trickle charge. Then, after an extended test ride to double check the results of the service that had been performed, we put it through Maryland State Inspection, to get the state’s final stamp of approval for the bike’s safety and mechanical integrity. Good to GO!
A quick look at the motorcycle, either in person or by inspecting the photos here, will tell you that this Xmoto in Graphite Metallic Red is in very fine condition. With less than 10,000 miles over a period of about twelve years, the bike obviously wasn’t ridden extensively, and luckily, had been well cared for too. Nevertheless, our pro detailer put his magic to work and was able to erase almost every trace of the bike’s previous usage. There are, however, two small paint chips on the right rear side of the seat surround bodywork. And though they had been touched up by the previous owner, they remain visible. All in all, though, the bike looks great.
