The Road King Custom model is recognized for its in-your-face style and attitude, with its minimalist swept-back chrome visor perched atop a set of pullback beach bars. Moving back, you’ll find this custom bagger is dressed up right. Leather bags with hidden supports. Slash-cut mufflers. Electro-formed, chromed metal fuel tank emblems. Big, clean front and rear fenders. Rounding off the sweet look are streamlined footboards, passenger pegs, brake pedal, cast and chromed slotted alloy wheels and a tank-mounted stretch chrome console. While it has much for the eye to see, it was built to see the country. You get a lowered, air-adjustable rear suspension, refined chassis, and the proven Twin Cam 88® engine. Going further, this Road King Custom proudly wears a few more added goodies:
• Big Chrome Engine Protection Bars
• Touring Windscreen with H-D Leather Pouch

Looking at this machine in the photos, you probably will notice only one cosmetic issue, and that would be the numerous small scuffs (or heel marks) on the leather saddlebags. (From this we can deduce that the previous owner was not a yoga practitioner.) But the reason you don’t see more blemishes on this 18-year-old bike with over 20K miles it is because there are remarkably FEW of them! We urge you to come in for an up-close, in-person inspection as soon as possible — and when you do, of course, you’re bound to notice a few more minor imperfections that don’t necessarily jump out in these photos. But the first thing your eye will be drawn to is the quality of the chrome finishes. It is excellent and truly defies the bikes age. Then look at that lustrous Black Cherry paint. It’s in splendid condition. Sure, you’ll find some minor scratches here and there, but it’s the deep, rich shine that stays in your mind. We’ll go ahead and point out the other blems that turned up in our cosmetic evaluation, so you know what to look for. On the forks, there is a dent in the upper chrome shroud on the right side and some excessive pitting on the lower left leg. Lastly, you may find small stress cracks on the windscreen around the mounting points. That’s it. This proud machine is in great shape, and you will be a proud owner of it — especially knowing that the patina this bike has earned through some years and miles of exceptional touring now translates to a price tag you’ll find exceptionally attractive!
The pros in our Service Department went over this big cruiser with a fine-tooth comb; they checked, tweaked, tightened, adjusted, and made everything just right. The gave it fresh oil and filter, new brake fluid, and a new Front Tire. (The rear one was fairly new and still in excellent condition.) They filled both tires with nitrogen to enhance the wear and performance characteristics. Lastly, a thorough test ride and the Maryland Safety Inspection. This beast is good to go the long haul. Where you decide to ride is entirely up to you, but if you want to make that choice and experience the inimitable sense of freedom this Road King Custom can bring, you’d better call Bob’s FAST.
