Description
There’s a subculture of BMW Cruiser lovers out there, and they are currently having a heyday. Not only has BMW recently released a number of great new models in the R18 series, but interest in the R1200 C series that was born in the late 1990s has had a resurgence. And right now at Bob’s there are TWO of these beauties available! This one, the R1200C Phoenix model in its distinctive two-tone Mandarin Yellow and Graphite Metallic paint scheme, was by many folks’ reckoning, the handsomest BMW cruiser ever released. And THIS one is an almost perfect example! DON’T WAIT or you will miss out. Call now: 1-888-269-2627 to speak with one of our BMW Certified Sales Advisors —Jim, or Todd. Call TODAY!
This BMW R1200C Phoenix has more than just its paint job to make its irresistible appeal. For instance, the dark gray-tinted, bubble-shaped fly screen that smooths the airflow over the handlebar which follows a lower line than most other cruiser models, the mirrors with their stylish housings in black and chrome, the chrome saddlebag mounting frames, the chrome engine protection bars with built-in highway-style, legs-stretched-forward alternate riding position, the big auxiliary driving lights with housings in black & chrome to maintain the predominant design theme, and finally, the sleek three-spoke cast wheels which were unique to this model and probably could have won a design prize all in themselves. Smooth lines, contrasting colors and textures, and oh yes, loads of chrome all work together in harmony to visually set this bike stunningly apart from all others of its kind.
This is American-style riding posture paired with German engineering and reliability — basically a low-slung, shaft-driven bike powered by the iconic BMW Boxer engine, that stops really well thanks to its Stainless Steel Brake Lines (brand new!) and the famous BMW ABS system, and all wrapped in a package of inimitable style. Oh, and this one also has heated grips because, even though you’re riding the coolest in town, you don’t want to be TOO cool, right?
This bike has LOW Miles and has had just ONE OWNER, who obviously took excellent care of it. We said in the opening paragraph that it was almost perfect. You know, that word “almost” could stand for a lot of things, but in this case there’s barely anything cosmetically wrong that could tarnish your otherwise beaming pride of ownership. And here are the details: there are some pock marks on the fork legs (similar to what you would see on most Harleys); there is also a little pitting on the auxiliary light mounting brackets; the label on the swing arm is fading and aged; The rear wheel has some corrosion on the right side and a couple little marks on the left side; the muffler also shows some light pitting but after the pro detailing this bike got, it’s very hard to see. That’s it. MUCH less than typical wear for a bike of this age and mileage, and you have to lean in quite close to see any of it. In fact, from two or three paces back you’d say this bike was absolutely museum-worthy. But do you want to put it in a museum? Hell, NO! You want to RIDE it!
And since you’re going to ride it, you’ll be glad to know that this machine is in impeccable mechanical condition. It has been checked top-to-bottom, every component and function tested to assure optimum safety, performance and reliability. It has NEW TIRES front & rear, a NEW BATTERY, it got a complete fuel system treatment and, of course, a Bi-Annual Service which means fresh engine oil and filter, new brake fluid, and all running specs checked and adjusted as necessary. Finally, after an extended test ride and passing of Maryland Safety Inspection, it’s signed, sealed, and waiting to be delivered — to YOU.
The bike comes with two keys, original owner’s book and factory tool kit. Yes, the best looking bike in town can be YOURS. So call NOW.
