The F900XR the mid-size sports/adventure bike with all the performance you need go anywhere. It’s got character in spades and it’s just plain FUN to ride. This bike’s previous owner had brought it in for the scheduled 6,000 Mile Service not too long ago and ridden it only a few hundred miles since then. Nevertheless, when the boys in our Service Department got their hands on it again in preparation for the sales floor, they gave it a full workout including a top-to-bottom diagnostic evaluation and safety check. Other than freshening its fluids and some typical minor tweaking of adjustments to assure perfect rideability, it only needed a NEW FRONT TIRE to meet our pinnacle standard of mechanical condition. They installed a new Michelin Pilot Road 5 GT tire on the front to match the one on the back which still has plenty of useful life in it. Going the full measure, they filled both tires with nitrogen which enhances tire life and performance characteristics going forward. Then, the bike got the benefit of an extended test ride and passing Maryland Safety Inspection, all to verify that this bike will deliver the safe and thrilling performance you expect – and beyond.
The last step in our prep is for the bike to be thoroughly cleaned and meticulously detailed. When it came in, there were hardly any cosmetic flaws on it worth mentioning, and now after the glamour treatment it got, you would hardly suspect this bike was ever used at all. It’s a perfectly beautiful motorcycle!
