An Adventure is different from a standard GS for several reasons. Its many features include a larger fuel tank, taller chassis and suspension, factory cylinder/rider/tank guards, tall adjustable screen, cross-spoke wheels, luggage rack and adventure saddlebag mounts, hand guards, lower bash plate, Adventure foot pegs and brake pedal. Beyond that, this one also came equipped with all the most desirable Factory Options available at the time. These are:

One other interesting feature of this bike is the seat. It is the two-piece standard GS seat rather than the one-piece perch normally found on an Adventure. It’s not only comfortable, those red accent colors in combination with the bike’s paint color really jump.
Mechanically this machine runs with all the power and performance you’d expect — and more. It was purchased new at Bob’s, delivered in January of 2019, then serviced faithfully at Bob’s ever since. The complete service history is available for your inspection upon request. It had been last seen in our Service Department in July of this year for its Annual Service, and not ridden much in the interim. Nevertheless, we went over the entire bike with a fine-tooth comb as part of our extensive pre-purchase inspection, checking every component and system to be sure it met the highest standards of performance and safety. We found that its fluids, filters, tires, and battery were all in perfect order, and that all its performance adjustments were spot on. Luckily, this bike had always been well cared for and apparently never ridden too hard. The only thing we saw a necessity to fix was that an installed after-market replacement muffler had partially melted the right-side rear turn signal housing. We decided to replace that muffler with the original stock one and then installed a new turn signal. Done. Following all that, the bike got a final check with an extended test ride and the rigorous Maryland State Inspection. The bike is as ready as ready can be.
On the cosmetic side, well, you can see for yourself how stunning it looks. Our in-house professional detailer did his typically amazing job of making the bike look brand-new again. On close examination you’ll find only scant evidence of its previous life: a couple of minor scrapes on the left-side hand guard (visible in the photo), maybe a couple of barely detectable boot scuffs on the frame near the pegs, and of course, the standard exhaust pipe patina. Other than that, the bike is FLAWLESS! It doesn’t even appear to have ever tipped over. Overall: Amazing!
