Cosmetically the bike is in excellent shape, easily a 9.5 on our very critical scale of 10. When it first arrived, there were a couple of defects: bubbling engine paint on the black stator cover and a tear in the seat cover. We took care of those by replacing the parts. So yes, it now has a brand new seat and stator cover! Otherwise, besides the typical (and unavoidable) patina on the exhaust pipes, its only signs of previous use were minimal. And now, after a thorough treatment from our professional detailer, you might guess that it’s a new bike. Those gleaming red wheels are particularly eye-catching.

This bike underwent the usual, rigorous pre-sale workout in our Service Department, starting with a top-to-bottom examination and diagnostic analysis of every performance and safety component. Fortunately, it had been well cared for previously, and with its moderately low miles turned out not to need much special treatment beyond installing the new seat and stator cover as mentioned above. Of course, we changed its engine oil and filter and lubed and adjusted the chain. Then there were two final procedures: our extended, critical test ride and the Maryland State Inspection. It passed both with flying colors. For this motorcycle there are miles and miles of fun and excitement on the horizon.
