BMW really hit a home run when they created this light, sporty, belt-driven touring bike. The parallel twin, 798cc engine generates 90 HP at 8,000 rpm. It’s factory equipped with ABS, ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), ASC (Automatic Stability Control), On Board Computer, TPM (Tire Pressure Monitoring), Center Stand, and Heated Grips. Additionally, this bike boasts a Scorpion carbon fiber slip-on muffler and R&G Frame Sliders for engine and bodywork protection. Finally, to make your travel time on the road feel effortless and comfortable, there’s a BMW Comfort Seat, a larger-taller Puig Touring Windshield ,and best of all, BMW’s spacious, removable Touring Cases and the 28-liter Top Case. Cosmetically, you’ll find little wrong here save for a few minor but noticeable scuff marks on the saddlebags. Otherwise, our in-house professional detailer did his magic on it to bring the clean & shine up to the high Bob’s BMW standards. Yes, you’ll also notice some patina of aging on the exhaust pipes and where sun exposure has faded some of the plastic surfaces a bit, but truth be told, we tend to be more critical than most of our customers are about these things. What you’ll notice first and foremost is the absolutely splendid condition of the Dark Graphite Metallic paint throughout. We think you’ll be duly impressed and satisfied when you come to look at this bike in person. 

 

As for its mechanical condition, well, this machine definitely stands ready to go the distance. We have just given it a major Bi-Annual service which includes changing all its engine & drivetrain fluids & filters, replacing brake fluid, and an overall diagnostic checkup. Going further to assure the bike’s tip-top performance and safety, we also installed NEW rear brake rotor and pads, a NEW BATTERY, and NEW TIRES (Michelin’s excellent Pilot Road 5, front & rear)! Of course, we’ve put the bike through Maryland State Inspection (passed with flying colors!) and a final, extended test ride to assure that YOU will have a turn-key pleasurable and safe riding experience with no maintenance worries on the horizon.
