This machine was purchased new at Bob’s in January 2007. It has had only two owners, and both took exceptionally good care of it. When it came in, we did our customary top-to-bottom safety and performance evaluation. We then did a Bi-Annual Service on it which includes changing the engine oil & filter, replacing the brake fluid, and making any needed performance adjustments. But this machine, already in fine mechanical condition from having been regularly maintained at Bob’s, required no further interventions. Topping off the service treatment before sending it to the showroom, we gave it a critical, extended test ride, performed the rigorous Maryland State Inspection (which it passed, naturally) and finally, turned it over to our in-house pro detailer for deep cleaning and polishing.
The bike turned out splendidly. Most signs of its previous life — and there were only a few minor ones which we would classify as “typical wear” for its age — were erased by our detailer. A close, hard look will reveal three or four tiny chips in the paint caused by the usual stuff kicked up by other vehicles on the highway. Nothing more. The spotless surfaces and glowing silver aura this bike presents will make you feel good. The PRICE TAG for a bike that still has so much to offer will make you feel even better.
