Product Details

Left side and right side petcocks are SOLD SEPARATELY! Each one comes complete with filter screen and built-in crush gasket (soldered to the filter screen). No other parts are required.

Original German made Karcoma brand petcocks (or "fuel taps" if you're a little squeamish about using the proper term), were OEM parts on the vast majority of Airhead twins made after 1974. These guys are the real deal, and since availability through BMW has been inconsistent, we are pleased to be able to offer them directly from Karcoma.
There was another manufacturer of petcocks that BMW used on some bikes delivered in the late 70s and early 80s: Germa. The brand name can be seen on the petcock handle. Germa petcocks are still available from BMW and can be found in the microfiche. Germa and Karcoma petcocks are interchangeable.

Please see recommended products for the alternative petcocks.
