This “Deluxe” Carburetor Rebuild Kit is for all 1970-1978 Airheads equipped with 32mm Bing CV (Constant Velocity) type carbs - EXCEPT 1978 R80/7.
Specifically, this kit fits...
All 1970-’77 R75 models, 1974-’76 R90/6, and 1977-'78 R100/7
NOTE: If you are not SURE of whether your bike has 32mm or 40mm carbs, you can look at the factory stamping on the carb body just below the dome to find out. In a series of of numbers separated into three groups by slashes, the middle group will either be 32 or 40.

BMW has traditionally offered a Carb Kit that provides routine replacement seals and gaskets. However, the technicians at Bob’s, who have restored and rebuilt countless Airheads, have found that several other critical carburetor parts typically wear or deteriorate to a point of affecting performance as well. • 1 Gasket Kit for Bing CV Type – supplies both carbs
• 2 Carb Diaphragms
• 2 Floats
• 2 Float Pivot Pins
• 2 Float Needles
• 2 Float Needle Seats (an original Bing part that is not available from BMW)
• 4 Throttle Butterfly Shaft Screws
• 2 Vacuum Screws
• 2 Vacuum Screw Gaskets
• 8 Carb Top Screws
• 2 Throttle Return Springs
• 2 Carb to Head Rubber Sleeves
• 2 Carb to Air Tube Rubber Sleeves
• Air Tube O-rings
All parts are Genuine BMW Parts except as noted.

Complete carb service also requires thorough cleaning. You need a high quality can of aerosol Carb/Throttle Body Cleaner on hand to flush jets and nozzles and generally clean out the dirt and gunk and use of the jet cleaning tool.
