Up for sale is an almost new, one owner, Kawasaki Z900AH with only 5,422 miles. Kawasaki calls the factory paint scheme Pearl Mystic Gray / Metallic Flat Spark Black. It really POPs and looks super-fast. The green lines from the frame up against the sparkling black tank and black engine really look great together. This naked bike has everything you need to get out and enjoy the fast Mid-Atlantic twisty roads and more.
The Z900 is a liquid cooled, 4 cylinder, 16-valve four stroke. 948cc’s. Despite coming in over 900cc’s the Z900 is actually almost 50 pounds lighter than the previous Z800 series. At 463 lbs. and a 31.3 inch seat height the Z900 is very popular for those looking for a lightweight naked or sport bike that is shorter but still capable of high speed highway performance. Chain driven with a 6 speed transmission this Kawasaki is comfortable at all speeds. 17 inch front and rear wheels. It houses a 4.5 gallon gas tank for miles of uninterrupted fun.
This Z900AH is almost completely stock. It was owned and operated by the previous owner for less than a year. He added low profile mirrors and adjustable clutch and brake lever. He also added a carbon fiber looking wrap to the rear fender, side covers and bar ends. Cosmetically the bike is as close to brand new as you can get. Our detailer spent a day cleaning and polishing up this Z900 and it came out looking beautiful. The paint is a 9.5 (if we are being critical). As noted, there are only 5,422 miles on this bike as I write but looking it over with a flashlight I would have guessed 542 miles.
The bike had its break in service completed at the end of last year and an additional oil change in June of this year at a local Kawasaki dealer. We handed over this fun Kawasaki to one of our Bob’s BMW Master Certified Technicians to run it through its paces and get it ready for its new owner. He renewed the engine oil and filter, renewed front and rear brake fluid and adjusted and lubed the chain. He also installed a brand new set of Dunlop Q4 sport tires and installed nitrogen for a more balanced tire pressure. The previous owner was unable to find the owner’s manual so we went ahead and ordered a brand new one which will be included in the sales with the two original keys as well.
Once serviced we ran the bike through the very thorough Maryland State Inspection and our Pre-Purchase inspection and extended test ride. Everything came back passing and with thumbs up. Overall we have a super clean, well-cared for, low mileage fully serviced and detailed naked bike. We don’t usually see these in such great shape and we are confident this one is going to make its new owner really happy with miles and miles of worry free fun.
