Here at Bob’s BMW we have had a lot of success with S1000RR motorcycles and with our teams involvement at the track over the years and working with our sponsored racer Jeremy Cook we continue to connect and be involved in the race and sport scene in Mid-Atlantic. We love these bikes and continue to get excited over the evolution of the S1000RR and the sport in general. People tend to keep these bikes for a long time and we just do not get enough good clean pre-owned S1000’s. When we get one this nice it attracts a lot of attention and they tend to find new homes very quickly. Please look at the pictures closely and if you are in the market for one of the fastest, yet safest and completely loaded S1000RR’s jump on this opportunity quickly.
This 2016 S1000RR only has 7,315 miles on it. It was owned by one person and purchased new in April of 2017. It came from BMW fully loaded with the Premium Package including gear shift assist pro, ride modes pro, heated grips, DTC (dynamic traction control), DDC (Dynamic damping control), Forged Wheels and cruise control. BMW calls the color Black Storm Metallic / Racing Red which was a very popular color and one which we wish BMW still had available today. Coming with the industry leading 3 year / 36,000 miles warranty from new, this bike is still covered under BMW’s warranty until 04/07/2020 or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. That’s almost 18 months from the time of this write-up.
The previous owner did his services here at Bob’s by our Master Certified BMW technicians. We took the liberty of completing all services and doing a full inspection so the next owner has nothing but worry free miles ahead of him or her. We installed brand new tires front and rear tires and filled them with nitrogen for more consistent air pressure and longer tire life. We also renewed the rear brake pads. We completed a full 6,000 mile service + Bi-Annual which includes engine oil and filter, brake fluid change front and rear, air filter, adjust and lubricate the chain, Bob’s BMW 38 point safety inspection and resetting the service calendar. The next service on this bike will not be due until 12,000 miles or October of 2019. Once we finished servicing the bike our master technician completed the Maryland State Inspection which it passed. At that point it went to our detailer for a full day detail to bring up the overall cosmetic condition back up to Bob’s BMW Standard.
The previous owner added a Yoshimura titanium slip on exhaust, R&G frame sliders and a tinted windscreen. With the fresh detail, the overall stock look and the new tires this bike look as close to new as you can get a 2016 model with 7,300 miles on it. We rate the bike a 9.5 out of 10 with the only call out is a small scratch on the swing arm and very, very light polish scratches on some of the paint (only noticed under flash light with a very critical eye). Even the grips have very minimal wear. This S1000RR comes with two keys and the owner’s manual. Contact one of our Certified BMW Sales Advisors today!
