Four bikes in one? Yes! Thanks to the 2012 Ducati Multistrada’s unique and unparalleled technology, the rider can choose between Sport, Touring, Urban, or Enduro ride modes with a single click! Immediate adjustments are made to power delivery and torque, as well as to the suspension and traction control, so that the Multistrada transforms to perfectly suit the riding environment. The system is as beautiful as the bike itself.
This Multistrada 1200 S, in Arctic White, is cosmetically flawless. You simply wouldn’t guess that it has 16,500 miles on the clock. It’s obvious that this bike was well loved by its previous owner, and the mileage simply tells us that he loved riding it too. That’s a good thing. Despite its stunning looks, though, this bike is much more than just a pretty face. With 150 horsepower at 9250 rpm and 87.5 lb-ft of torque at 7500 rpm, coupled with a class-leading weight of merely 423 lbs, there’s more than enough power for carrying rider, passengers, and cargo in spirited fashion. Plus the ride-by-wire and updated electronic suspension control system make it a dream to handle.
Going somewhere? The Ducati touring side cases and top case that come with this bike provide ample storage space for your sport-adventure-touring plans, no matter if it’s a weekend sprint or if you’re headed for the opposite coast. Especially on longer excursions, you’ll be glad that the Multistrada was developed to offer perfect ergonomics for both the rider and passenger. The ‘ergonomics triangle — the relationship of handlebar, seat and footpegs — was designed to optimize comfort while providing a commanding and upright riding position. And your passenger will appreciate the comfy backrest attached to the top case.
In our Service Department, this motorcycle got the full treatment. Every system and component was examined thoroughly against factory specs to assure optimum performance and safety. We found that the front brake rotors had worn below spec so they were replaced along with the front brake pads. We also replaced radiator hoses and repaired a faulty fuel sensor, then performed an “Annual Service” on it which includes an oil and filter change. Everything was checked once again, then all functions and safety aspects confirmed by an extended test ride. Finally, we put the bike through the rigorous Maryland State Inspection, which is one of the nation’s toughest inspections, and it passed 100%. Oh, and let’s be sure to mention that it has also been meticulously detailed by our in-house pro. The result is a beautiful machine that is totally fit for whatever type of sporting adventure you can conjure. Ride it without worry. Ride it anywhere. Ride it proudly. Ride it TODAY.
