Just take a good look at the photos of this classic K75 Project Bike. It really looks GOOD for a twenty-five year old, doesn’t it? And please know that we did not detail it; it has only received a good bath. With a little more TLC, we’re confident it will clean up even better. We know that the previous owner took very good care of it, and he even kept meticulous service records too. We’re selling it as a Project Bike because it needs some mechanical attention before it can pass Maryland Inspection (see Service Notes below), and right now, our Service Department is swamped with taking care of customers’ bikes and prepping our premium pre-owned bikes for the showroom. Plus, we think this Project Bike will be a fun and worthwhile endeavor for the right buyer.
As with all PROJECT BIKES we want buyers to know as much as possible about the bike before making a purchase. We’ve nothing to hide and our only goal is that the new owner for each and every PROJECT BIKE feels they paid fairly and got a good, if not great value in the deal. We encourage people to call, schedule a time to meet with one of our sales advisors and inspect each machine in person so they fully understand all the positives as well as the potential downsides involved in the refurbishing process.

SERVICE NOTES on this K75:
Our Techs thoroughly examined the bike and identified the following issues that need attention before it can pass Maryland Safety Inspection and be ridden safely.
• Rear brake Master Cylinder is leaking
• There is an oil leak around Water/Oil pump
• Tires are old and show some dry rot; need replacing
• Rear brake disc is right at the allowed wear minimum
None of these issues are serious or difficult to solve. And otherwise, this motorcycle is mechanically sound and runs well. The BMW K75 triple is a bike famous for running forever! Typical of all our PROJECT BIKES, this one represents another excellent VALUE!
