You don’t have to be a vintage buff to enjoy this great annual festival. It’s always been one of our favorites. The event is evolving once again. What started out as British Motorcycle Day in the early 1980s, then changed to British & European Classic Motorcycle Day in 2000, has transformed now into just plain Classic Motorcycle Day. And this year at a NEW, better location: the Fireman’s Carnival Grounds just off I-70 in Mount Airy, MD. Learn more at: classicmotorcycleday.org
Ride for Kids, which supports the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, is the longest-running, most successful motorcycle charity event in the nation. Since 1984, motorcyclists have raised funds to help children with brain tumors, which are the top cause of cancer death in children. The Baltimore/Washington Ride for Kids event is near and dear to Bob personally, and for many years he and the Bob’s Crew have been earnestly involved. And it’s FUN! We urge you to join us for a scenic, police-escorted motorcycle ride from Ellicott City through some of the best back roads in Howard and Montgomery Counties. Sunday, October 13!
Register early. Contact Bob’s or visit the website for more information: http://www.curethekids.org/events/ride-for-kids/#.XG0dMXJKjIU
