The Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route (ORBDR) will be the 12th route developed by the BDR organization for dual-sport and adventure motorcycle travel.
Bob’s is hosting a public premiere of the expedition documentary film on February 25th for the local riding community to enjoy. Ricardo Rodriguez, a member of the ORBDR expedition team and Lead Instructor at BMW Performance Center, will be co-hosting the day with us and answering all of your questions.
Showtime is 11AM but arrive early to reserve your seat, grab some food from one of our local food truck partners (TBA), and to pocket some of the FREE ORBDR swag made available by BMW, a proud sponsor of the 2023 route, while supplies last. Be sure to enter our door prize drawing for an exciting prize (TBA).
This event is FREE and open to all motorcycle enthusiasts and friends!
About the ORBDR
Riders on the ORBDR will be treated to diverse terrain as they explore Eastern and Central Oregon and the Northern Cascade Range. Challenges include lava rocks, silt, sand, and steep roads in sage hills and dense forests. The state’s volcanism is on display all along the route with hot springs, lava caves, buttes, and glaciated volcanoes that are easy to see or visit on every section. This route is one of the best ways to discover the backcountry of Oregon.
