This rally is a favorite for many — the Bob’s crew included. This year is the 45th Annual Finger Lakes Rally, put on by the Finger Lakes BMW Club. As always, the setting is the lovely Hidden Valley Campground at Watkins Glen State Park, truly a beautiful place. Don’t miss it!

This year’s annual rally hosted by the BMW Riders Association (BMWRA) will show that the national club known for being serious about riding can also be serious about fun. “Set My Soul Free” is the theme, and it sounds like they’re intent to have a groovy time. With all those great roads in that part of the country, how could anyone NOT?

Ride for Kids, which supports the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, is the longest-running, most successful motorcycle charity event in the nation. Since 1984, motorcyclists have raised funds to help children with brain tumors, which are the top cause of cancer death in children. The Baltimore/Washington Ride for Kids event is near and dear to Bob personally, and for many years he and the Bob’s Crew have been earnestly involved. And it’s FUN! We urge you to join us for a scenic, police-escorted motorcycle ride from Ellicott City through some of the best back roads in Howard and Montgomery Counties. Sunday, October 13!
Register early. Contact Bob’s or visit the website for more information: http://www.curethekids.org/events/ride-for-kids/#.XG0dMXJKjIU
