Attention R1100RT owners! The RT's front fender has side skirts that covers the forks where the MotoLights would be mounted. Instructions with the MotoLight kit instruct you to cut slots in the fender to provide access to the forks. We recommend finishing the cut with some rubber edge trim (BMW part #46 63 1 233 305, $3.39). For those who prefer not to do modifications that require sawing bodywork, we suggest substituting a K1200RS fender (#46 61 2 307 861 in primer, $141.79). (See below) Painting is required, of course, and we can arrange that too, but the final result is very clean, looks great, and allows you to preserve your original fender, uncut.
