We were a Piaggio/Vespa scooter dealer for a few year and it really made us understand why scooters are so much fun. The Reflex is a 250cc scooter that easily runs 70-75mph making it a great commuter capable of running highways. It's liquid cooled, runs on regular gas with belt drive and a 3.2 gallon tank. We are in the process of installing a fresh set of tires, doing a major service (at under $300 cheap to own one of these as well), and giving it a detailing.

Sold and serviced at Bob's while we were a Vespa/Piaggio dealer this clean MP3 features Piaggio's innovative 3-wheels design with 2 front fully independent and articulated wheels that lean when needed and can be locked in the upright position when under 2,000 rpms and keep your feet up at traffic lights - it's very cool and you have to see it to believe it. It is run by a 1 cylinder 244cc fuel injected motor through a "twist-n-go" CVT transmission - no shifting - and will go 75-80mph (verified) and get 50mpg+. MP3s have a lot of under seat storage and a small rear trunk access door. This scoot features a Sargent seat and tall GIVI touring screen. Solo or two-up these are very cool and sell for over $7,000 new so act fast on this clean low mileage bike.
2007 Piaggio MP3 Sales Demo Grey • 200+ miles stock number 001398 $4,995
Piaggio's extremely cool 3 wheeler with a 250cc fuel injected motor. You really have to see it to believe it. The front wheels are fully independently suspended and lean with the bike OR, under 2,000 rpms, can be locked in the upright position for parking or rolling up to a traffic light so you don't have to put your feet down. Yes, there is a parking brake as well along with tons of under-seat storage and a small trunk. It get's great gas mileage 50's+ and can easily manage 80+mph. This one has a few scrapes from a tip over in front of the shop one day when it was on display. Great in traffic, great around town and a real deal. These were $6,999 new in 2007 and are now $7,199 new if you can find one. Act fast - a great deal here at Bob's on our left over Sales Demonstrator from when we were a Vespa/Piaggio dealer.
2001 BMW F650GS Dakar White • 32,639 miles stock number ZF70218 $5,395
Sold and serviced (when in MD) at Bob's and just traded in on a really clean '04 R1150R, this is the Black and White non-ABS Dakar version of the F650GS featuring more suspension travel and the taller and narrower front wheel. We just completed a bi-annual service, installed a new set of Tourance tires, new chain and sprocket, new rear disc and pads, new front brake pads, a fresh set of grips (non-heated), and gave it a good detailing. The only recent change is the addition of a really nice set of new black Happy Trails side cases. These are great everyday bikes that get 60-70 mpg and are capable of 100mph and the Dakar version is a little better suited for the taller rider.

2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Candy Fire Red • 6,994 miles stock number 003539 $5,795
A star of Kawasaki's mid-size cruiser family the Vulcan 900 has great roll on and matches get-up-and-go of many bigger cruisers. The Vulcan features a 4 valve head, electronic fuel injection, liquid and air cooling, low 27" seat height, disc brakes all around, 5 speed 'box and makes 60ftlbs of torque at just 3,500rpms. BMW locates the fuel tank under the seat for a lower center of gravity and a more manageable weight displacement which leaves a neat "stuff bay" where a gas tank normally resides. 1998 BMW R1200C Custom "Bobber" Night Black • 12,669 miles stock number ZA62983 $8,495
Here is an opportunity to acquire a very unusual and special bike. Not to be confused with Bob's "chopper" this is the original R1200C custom. The unconfirmed mythology of the bike tells us it was built by a mechanic at BMW of Manhattan and sold to it's current owner. This bike is the bare essence of the R1200C. The ABS brake system was removed along with the turn signals, front and rear fenders and any other extraneous items like the hand clutch and foot shifter - more on that later. It feature black headers and custom straight pipe exhaust (sounds incredible). A custom seat and rear cowl were fabricated along with custom flat and straight handle bars with one small bar end mirror. Now for the shifting, it features a very unusual rear mounted jockey-shift mechanism with a con-rod and skull shift knob. The clutch is foot operated. This is the leanest and loudest C around. It will not pass MD State inspection because of the lack of turn signals, reflectors, and rear fender. Modification to do that could be discussed. Our normal test ride policy does not apply to this bike due to the nature of shift mechanism. Due to the customer nature of this bike it is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a one of a kind customer BMW and a one time opportunity to acquire it.

This is a really unusual bike you might have even heard about. It was special ordered from a regional dealer with option code 999, "Special Paint" and took 5 months to produce. It is a full factory Biarritz Blue paint job. Different from the civilian RT the RTP features bespoke hard saddle bags, pre-wired US harness, ABS brake, auxiliary linked battery, heated seat switch and heated seat, full interference suppression, protection bars, special switching and mounting locations, heated grips, power adjustable windscreen, and calibrated speedometer. This bike was also fitted with PIAA Halogen driving lights in the mid-position, PIAA driving lights in the low position, a Garmin 276C GPS, and Kreiga engine bar mount bag, A Uniden CB is available and the antenna is mounted.
