2007 Vespa LX150 Graphite Black • 109 miles stock number 010252 $2,895
Have you ever ridden a Vespa? Well you should and you can at Bob's. We were a dealer a few years ago and really fell in love with these. Conceived in 1946 this is the 150cc version that will go 60+mph and get 70+mpg - that's green and more fun than you now. Nice and light (225lbs) and easy to manage with a 30" seat height. They a 4 stroke motors so no mixing oil and gas and CVT or twist-n-go transmission, literally just twist the throttle and go. It's electric start and has a 2.3 gallon tank. Whether it's commuting or running errands it's unlikely you'll have more fun on two wheels. These do require a motorcycle endorsement on your license and are required to be tagged for road use. This was just traded in by a long time customer and features tan seats and the optional top case with matching backrest. These also make great Christmas presents and delivery is available. These are $4400+ new, act fast, it won't last long.

This is a very cool scoot, capable of 80+mph and 50-60mph AND has ABS brakes. It's powered by a single cylinder 250cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke motor (no oil/fuel mix) and run by a CVT transmission and belt drive. It's just under 400lbs on the road, so no getting blown around, has disc brakes, and has a nice 28" seat height and 3.6 gallon tank for good range. You do need a motorcycle endorsement on your license to ride it in MD (We can help with that). These are great transportation at a great price.

Recently sold to us by the second owner and service here since 2005 this clean RT features ABS brakes, heated hand grips, radio prep (antenna), BMW System side cases and top truck with backrest pad (keyed to match ignition), a power operated Cee Bailey mid-height screen, clear front turn signal lenses, front fender extender, along with two accessory outlets. We just completed a 36K and bi-annual service with alternator belt and fuel filter and installed a fresh set of Metzler Z6 tires and confirmed the battery was recent. Cosmetically it looks amazing with a scuff or two and a small touched up scratch on a mirror. This is a really nice RT and fully serviced - why risk private sale when you know it's been gone through by the best.

Another clean GS sold (twice) and serviced at Bob's BMW since new. This bike features ABS brakes, heated hand grips, center stand, side case mounts, rear rack, and hand guards from the factory. It also features PIAA 520 fog lights (the BIG pie-plate ones), hand guard extensions, black plastic engine guards, a set of jump lugs, and tubular metal engine guards. We just did an annual service, installed a new rear disc and pads, rebuilt the final drive, installed new grips, installed a new clutch slave cylinder and the tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. The Inspection II and bi-annual service was done here at 49,125 miles. This is a well cared for and solid GS.

You get a lot of the go, looks, and amenities of the jumbo cruisers without all the bulk and price. It features leather covered, keyed to match, 11 gallon side cases, passenger backrest, driver floor boards and a tall touring screen. Just a nice all around relaxed cruising bike and very clean.

This is a really clean Duc and a super cool bike featuring the air-cooled fuel injected 992cc V2 making 91hp and 68 ft lbs run through a 6 speed box weighing in at just 408lbs dry. It has amazing classic looks - it just looks like a motorcycle should - and a really nice standard riding position. Break-in service was done and it's not due for it's next service until 7,500 miles. Duc Pond did the break-in service and we just changes the oil/filter and brake fluid. We've sold several of these in the past year to some very happy new owners. OK, we have received a lot of inquiries about Police RTs and finally found a clean one. We previously sold this unit and took it in trade on an R1200RT. We sold it in 2007 after thoroughly going through it, installing a new clutch, doing a new rear input shaft seal and giving it a full service. It's been serviced here since and and recently had an Inspection I service. We just installed a fresh set of tires and cleaned up some minor cosmetics. A hot one sold and service at Bob's BMW and just traded on a new K1300S. I still can't believe you can buy a 167hp BMW K1200S for under $10,000 - an absolute ton of bike for the money. Of course you get the all new for '05 167hp transverse water-cooled 4 cylinder motor and 6 speed 'box run through shaft drive along with the extremely innovative duo lever front suspension that you must see to believe and ride all day ergonomics. This bike came from the factory with ABS brakes, heated hand grips, on board computer, standard height seat, and ESA (on-the-fly push-button dampening - Sport / Normal / Comfort - and 3 position pre-load electronic suspension adjustment) along with a dealer installed BMW alarm (2 fobs), BMW center stand, Powerlet accessory outlet (direct fused to the battery), and a custom painted tank top panel (came black) in Indigo Blue to match the bike. This outfit belonged to Mike Traynor, the incredible man who, along with his wife Diane, founded the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the Ride for Kids program. Mike was looking forward to making this his personal rig, but due to his untimely death last September, the work was halted as it began. As you may know Bob's has been a Hannigan dealer for over a year now. This really nice low mileage, one owner, '05 just came to us with all the usual goodies including the '05+ 116hp 4 cylinder water cooled motor, ABS brakes, low power adjustable windscreen, heated grips and seats, full radio /cd, and electronic cruise control.
