Sold and serviced at Bob's BMW and just traded in on a new 2010 S1000RR this bike comes to us from a great customer and is fully loaded. From the factory it features ABS brakes, heated hand grips, TPM (tire pressure monitor), OBC (on board computer), and clear turn signal lenses. The OBC is a big deal because you get the extended dash display with gear indicator and fuel gauge that the non-OBC bikes do not feature. This is the only Schnitzer belly pan I have ever seen on an F800S and it look great. The platform exists today in the F800ST format but the F800S was a very limited US production bike and was only imported for one year, 2007. Conceived in 1946 this is the 150cc version that will go 60+mph and get 70+mpg - that's green and more fun than you now. Nice and light (225lbs) and easy to manage with a 30" seat height. They a 4 stroke motors so no mixing oil and gas and CVT or twist-n-go transmission, literally just twist the throttle and go. It's electric start and has a 2.3 gallon tank. 1971 BMW R60/5 Black • 60,807 miles stock number 2936819 $5,295
Part of the new era /5 which replace the /2 in 1970. Faced with a Japanese invasion of lighter and nimbler bike BMW created the /5 and even decided to offer colors other than black or white. /5 motors came in 494cc 36bhp (R50), 599cc 46bhp (R60), and 745cc 57bhp (R75) versions all featuring the same bottom end with only cylinders, pistons, carbs and heads changed to suit. This was really the introduction of the first modern BMW with 12V charging systems, electric start (but still had a kicker) with a high pressure lube system and replaceable oil filter. It features and 18" spoked rim in the rear and 19" in the front with drum brakes front and rear. The pre-1973 models were considered "SWB" or "short wheel base" models as the swing arm was lengthened 50mm for the 1973 model. Of course all featured shaft drive but telescopic front forks were new after being tested on ISDT race bikes and the 1969 /2 "US" models. /5s have 4 speed transmissions and made for terrific daily riders offering modern performance and ease of ownership with a clear link to the past. A good running R60/5 is capable of 103 mph "fully tucked in". This is a SWB 600cc model with a standard 18 liter tank and it features Krauser side cases, a Krauser luggage rack, very nice Albert bar end mirrors, a Reynolds ride-off center stand and a Brown side stand. It does have an incorrect, but very nice, R60US front fender further adding to the vintage appeal. There is of course some patina in the form of a small tank dent, headlight ring ding, and a few scratches and blemishes here and there but this bike presents well and was well cared for by a good and regular Bob's customer. We just installed a fresh set of Avon Road Riders, many new rubber bits, clutch push rod seal, tach cable boot, and gave it a tune up (about $1000 in service work and parts) by a tech that owns an R60/5 so it's in fine running order.

This is a really rare bike, a Piedmont Red GT, and very hard to come by this clean. Technically only were only offered in Grey Green Metallic and Orient blue and only produced in 2003 & 2004 a few Piedmont Red Metallic (code 911) bikes appeared in the US. A GT was based on the 130hp RS but featured a power adjustable wind screen, heated comfort seat, slightly taller and longer bar risers, and additional side fairing and upper fairing wind deflectors along with paint to match side cases. This bike features all of the above along with electronic cruise control, heated hand grips, center stand, additional aftermarket bar risers, Wunderlich tank bag, and larger Aeroflow screen. The only real imperfection is a tiny rub on the painted upper right side wind deflector, hard to notice but there. These are wonderful sport touring bikes, silky smooth motor and gearbox, great wind protection and wind management, stable, and a huge power band. This is a three-owner bike, the last two Bob's customers, and we know the bike well. It received fresh Z6's in June along with a bi-annual service and we just changed the oil. The last year of the Dakar and a rare find. In the last year of the Dakar several hundred were scheduled for the US when engine allocation was reassigned to the standard F650GS cutting supply of Dakars dramatically. The Dakar was a specialized and limited edition version of the standard F650GS and along with the 652cc water-cooled fuel-injected single it featured a taller wind screen and hand guards along with more suspension travel and a 21" front wheel compared with the standard 19" for better off-road / Enduro performance. Dakars are favored by taller riders with their 34" seat height but their light 390lb dry weight and wide Enduro style bars make it manageable for virtually any inseam. This bike features a 4.6 gallon tank and will regularly get 60mpg and capable of more. I'll start with the basic bike, but that's just half the story. This was recently traded on an F800GS by a multi-bike Bob's customer who bought this, rode it home, spent over $4,000 on it and decided it wasn't for him. Triumph says it has dark brooding lines and a pared-down hot rod essence making it a standout in the standard / power cruiser segment. We call it damn cool looking and it gets up and goes. Based on the DOHC, 8 valve, carbureted 865cc twin and a 5 speed 'box it weighs in at 504lbs with a 4.4 gallon tank, it rides on silver and black cast wheels. That's the first half, now a partial list of the good stuff. Stainless air injection removal kit, Freak air box removal kit, K&N filter and carb jets, RIVCO swept back bar risers, center stand, billet driving light bar, billet driver floor boards, British Customs 19 tooth sprocket conversion, ISO grips, Cal Moto solo seat rail kit, pillion rack, chrome battery box cover, roadster windshield, Long off-road pipes, Corbin custom solo saddle and oval Triumph billet mirrors, and a ton of chrome dress up - I have the long detailed list. So lot's of flash and lots of dash for this great looking factory two-tone Speedmaster. It's got to be the best equipped and best looking Speedmaster out there priced with all the other plain Jane bikes.

1980 BMW R100RT/S w/

Another properly set up and great
looking rig that we have serviced since 1997. The bike started
life as an R100RT converted to an S fairing with higher
US bars. This is a fully converted EML GT rig which includes
an entire bike frame and side car frame conversion along
with suspension, including a leading link front end and
Koni's all around, wheels, brakes (discs all around including
side car), wheels, and oil cooler. This is a 1.5 person
rig with a huge trunk (containing a spare tire), tonneau
and full convertible top. The bike seat has been re-done
and is very comfortable. The bike also features very nice
Mac mufflers, dual FIAMM horns, and the black paint and
gold pin stripes are excellent. We replaced the grips, peg
and shift rubbers, installed new VDO clock and voltmeter,
cleaned it up, and it flew through MD State Inspection.
This bike is fully serviced and ready to go anywhere.
1992 BMW R100RT Pine

It has arrived and it is clean.
We know the previous owner very well and this is a well
sorted RT featuring a taller windscreen, new BMW side cases
and mounts, partial tool kit, in-line fuel filter, and fresh
matching Laser rear tire. It also features LED hyperlites
in the rear, 80/100 headlight bulb, freshly rebuilt saddle
by Sargent, heated hand grips (that work), fork mounted
black Motolites with second factory heated grip switch to
operate them (very nice touch), Progressive suspension front
and rear with rear Werks shock, 400W charging system with
new Odyssey battery, new rear brake shoes, accessory plug
for heated gear, and the tranny has had the circlip done
here. It's one flaw is a 2-4" scratch in the left side
of the fairing that has been touched up. All paint is original
and in excellent condition. All service was done by the
previous owner and is current. It has of course easily passed
MD State Inspection and is ready to ride home or to parts
unknown.

There is a scratch or two here and there but all mileage appropriate. This bike looks great and runs great. We just completed a 36K and bi-annual service. The last of the "real" metal tank GSs. were we lucky to get the opportunity to acquire this one.
We rarely have true performance based sidecar rigs for sale.
In fact, if Bob had not been lucky enough to buy his 1997
GG Duetto two years ago this would not even be for sale;
he loves the EML Speed 2000 set up. This rig started life
as a stock 1998 K1200RS Special delivered in late 1997 and
has had the same owner until Bob's purchased it. It was
dealer serviced at recommended intervals and in 2002 the
sidecar bug hit, following a lot of research the EML Speed
2000 conversion kit was ordered through the US importer
at that time BMW Motorrad of St. Louis. The kit arrived
in mid 2003; the extensive conversion, installation and
paint match was completed and handed back to the original
owner in November 2003 at 29,636 miles at a cost of over
$20,000. That would be about $25,000 in today's dollars;
and remember that does not include the bike as he already
owned it.

a new international racing series called the Boxer Cup featuring
their R1100S at Daytona Bike Week. Team USA featured two

Spa, and Brno and was the only support series for the MotoGP
