1977 R100/7
1977 BMW R100/7Stock Number: 141065
Color: Silver (this is a repaint)
Mileage: 6,794 on odometer
Accessories & Options: New Corbin dual Canyon seat with Reynolds backrest, Slipstreamer windscreen, Rack factory aluminum luggage rack (covered in black bed liner for better all weather finish), full coverage fork boots, Dual Fiam horns, Koni adjustable rear shocks, center stand w/o tang and the exhaust system (stainless steel header pipes) and side stand are included but in separate photos. That exhaust will fit every 1970 through 1984 BMW engine except the R65 even though the 1981-84 had a dual cross over pipe it works either way just fine and for that matter it should fit all 1985 to 1995 engines if installed in this chassis and yes we might sell it separately of the bike; before or following.
Cosmetic Condition: very good except for paint at rear top of gas tank, a very few scratches on the frame paint and a small scrape on the headlight trim ring, the grips are mis-matched. Wheels are very clean.
Mechanical Condition: It does not start, run or shift because there’s no engine, transmission, carbs, electrical system or battery! The brakes however work great at both ends and the tires ( Metzeler Lasertec’s ) are almost brand new. Switches all worked before we stole the driveline for another clients conversion project. The final drive is a 33/11 or 3.0. Wheels and spokes are straight and above average cosmetically.
Notes: Yes, we really did take a perfectly good running bike (a former project bike we took back in trade) and removed the entire front driveline so we could make another customer happy. BTW, his conversion is almost done. So if you have a spare engine, trans, carbs and electrics sitting around doing nothing you could have yourself a very cost effective Beemer on the road shortly. Every air head engine & transmission produced by BMW from 1970 through 1995 could be installed so the possibilities are very big and even if you don’t own one R60 & R75 series are almost being given away in flea markets and on the internet. It comes with a clear title.
Offered at: $ 1,995

1986 K100RT
Stock Number: 053909
Color: Blue
Mileage: 67,330 original miles
Accessories & Options: BMW saddlebag mounts, Reynolds luggage rack, nicely recovered seat (possibly by Sargent or Corbin), BMW optional Fuel & temperature gauges in individual mounting pods. Euro windscreen with wings.
Cosmetic Condition: average with some scratches and small cracks in fiberglass (see photos) and the ones by the top right mirror on the fairing and the same side lower appear to be from a parking lot fall over. The wheels look good and straight, there’s some light rust on a lot of hardware.
Mechanical Condition: This bike came in for a fuel filter, starter relay and some small items. Following the bike starting up and running fine we discovered the fuel tank was leaking. Customer informed us that had happened before and he had “fixed the leak”. He declined further work and never picked it up. The battery has been on charge all this time and we drained the gas tank for safety reasons. It cranks fine and if you were to have the tank professionally repaired or find a used one and transfer all the internals it should still be a decent machine. We have never road tested it. The gear indication and the button on the starter switch are in poor shape. The Michelin tires are not fresh but they do have plenty of tread on them.
Notes: This is probably a real gem in the rough worth fixing/replacing the tank on, changing all the fluids and then installing a fresh set of tires. The front discs look good and the rear looks thin (we have not measured them) and most rubber looks OK. Most early K100’s will go for several hundred thousand miles before any major work is required.
Offered at: We think it’s a steal at $1795

SOLD!

1980 R100RT
Stock Number: 196158
Mileage: 61,258 (52,876 on original speedometer)
Color: Red Smoke w/gold pinstripes
Accessories & Options: BMW saddle bag mounts & saddlebags, Reynolds rear rack & backrest, aftermarket rear shocks, bmw tool kit & tray, snowflake magnesium wheels, bmw oil cooler, Boyer ignition, National Cycle tall screen
Cosmetic Condition: This is typical of the red smoke paint that was exposed to UV and it has faded all over, there are also plenty of small road debris chips in the lowers, but it does not have exposure damage on hardware and all other parts. One lower is cracked below the valve cover, there is no evidence that the bike was dropped or crashed, seat is good as are the bags. The gas tank is in better condition that all else and there are no dents.
Mechanical Condition: Starts, runs, shifts, stops and idles fine but could probably use a carb adjustment and has been not ridden much in the last year, taken off the road last summer. Wheels and brake discs look good, tires serviceable, rubber & hardware looks good, there’s a minor weep at pushrod seals and oil pan gasket but has not actually dripped oil where it’s sat for last 30 days, if not longer. Missing that stupid tang on centerstand.
Notes: It fired right up when I wrote this review on 03-14-09 and with a little TLC, a new set of tires and fresh fluids one could probably ride this bike for ever and where ever you wanted. A repaint can always be done.
Offered at: $3,795

1992 K75
Stock Number: 134250
Mileage: 46,586
Color: original classic black metallic
Accessories & Options: bmw saddlebag mounts, accessory socket, low seat, tool kit, several keys and a nice KONI rear shock
Cosmetic: overall very good but has bad paint on front half of front fender, two small dents in gas tank (see photos), small scrape on left lever, speedo housing, muffler guard and left case cover and left seat handle (see photos), missing K75 emblem on rear of seat cowling, most hardware is clean but there is some minor rust here and there, wheels look clean & straight
mechanical condition: starts & runs fine but this bike has not been ridden
notes: probable clutch issue (goes into gear but really does not go forward) missing trip reset knob, has some pitting on fork tubes, high beam switch & indicator stuck on, all other switches work fine, very fresh Metzeler Laser front & a good Bridgestone Battleax rear tire, some rubber is good, other is in need of freshening, discs look OK but have not been measured for wear
Offered at: $1495

Cosmetic Condition: excellent paint, chrome, hardware, wheels & spokes, gauges, exhaust is better than most, it’s a beauty in need of just a little effort and a few parts to be perfect.
mechanical condition: starts, runs, shifts and brakes excellent
notes: fork seals leak, front master cylinder leaks, disc slightly below specs, push rod seals leak slightly, throttle cables stiff, almost new Avon road rider tires, numerous fresh rubber parts, fluids all look fairly clean, all switches work fine, this bike could be made state inspectable over a weekend and provide a few hundred thousand miles of fun.

1964 R60/2 # 625721 w/title plus extra frame # 641211 & extra motor # 625633 and almost enough parts to build a second bike.
1964 1966 R60Perhaps Our Most Interesting Project Bike Listing Ever: A TRUE FLEA MARKET FIND

This really is a pile of parts with unlimited potential and identifiable layers of dirt we are offering for sale. No claims of any kind are made on this stuff other than what you read here. However, as Bob got his start in the used parts business back in 1981 he could not resist being able to pass on a truckload exactly the way it arrived here. Who knows what you could build or restore from these original BMW pieces from the 1960s?

There is one complete rolling chassis with fenders, forks, suspension, wheels, final drive, shaft and swingarm, headlight, handlebars, seats and more plus a second main frame with forks. There are three titles, two engines and at least one complete gearbox. All totaled, there is at least one standard gas tank, a spare rear fender, several Denfeld luggage racks, two headlights, two more wheels, another rear swingarm with driveshaft and a final drive unit. There are two 5 gallon buckets with parts like carburetors, electrics, air tubes, switches, shocks, air cleaners and possibly controls. For certain there is a bunch more parts on the freight dolly in the photograph.

Those of you with good flea market vision will notice there is a very rare Hella valenced headlight trim ring on the rolling chassis as well as a hard to find original side stand on the extra frame. You can easily see that two center stands are included. There’s also a yet to be identified rear pillion seat. Both Earles Fork assemblies have the shocks and there is one BMW USA style handlebar with all the controls still attached. Even Bob himself has not fully rooted through the assorted spares so it is possible you could discover something he doesn’t even know is there!

Bob thinks this pile of 1.85 BMWs should be worth about $3,000. However, others on the staff think it’s too cheap at that price, and one or two believe it should sell for less!

Your firm offer will decide, so call or email Bob yourself and get started this winter!

1970 BMW R75/5
1970 BMW R75/5

Stock #972122

We just don't get /5 series machines often enough to come close to meeting the demand and while this one is not perfect it has lots of potential. This 1970 R75/5 came to us without much history so we worked overtime to provide the following details.  It is straight, the numbers are all correct and the Maryland title is clear. From what we can tell the odometer appears accurate; if so it has about 73,700 original miles and is ever so common the tachometer has spun its needle and needs to be rebuilt.

The paint on every surface appears original as well. The seat is original and in decent shape all over including the pan, trim and handles.  It has original BMW mufflers that appear to be a recent upgrade and look perfect.  The center stand is missing but it has a nice Brown side stand.  No tools, books or keys aside from the black knob in the ignition but it has the original tool tray and a spare used starter-signal switch with harness. The signals are missing the side reflectors that would have come with a 1970.  It has the correct tail light with center reflector. Everything inside the headlight looks clean. The valve covers also appear to be brand new BMW.

As is common the kick starter mechanism is a bit sticky so there is probably some gear wear on the segment gear, but it still works as does the electric start. The rims and spokes are fairly clean but the rear wheel does have a small flat spot.  The headlight has a very small abrasion underneath and along a 1.5 inch area adjacent to the chrome trim ring but it all fits together cleanly; the ring appears to be fresh. The bike starts up and runs but has about 30% leak down so a new owner may want to do a ring replacement and cylinder hone or perform a valve lap-in to tighten up for full power. The transmission goes through all the gears on the road but does have a noise that is probably bearing related.

The state of tune is fair but we’re sure that a full tune up and carb rebuild will make it run better. The BMW rear shocks are original; one adjustor is broken but they’re not visually leaking.  The fork springs are not collapsed but we don't know how old they are.  The BMW 2-piece cylinder guards are originally for a /6-/7 series but fit and work on all 1970-84 machines. It has a clean pair of black handlebar mirrors.  Tires are serviceable but older. Brakes work fine on both ends.  The inside of the large, very desirable 6.3 gallon tank is clean, the cap is undamaged but there are two small dents along the top right edge about silver dollar size; original tank medallions are in perfect shape!   One could address the mechanical issues and never touch the cosmetic and enjoy a fun, fair looking R75/5 for many years or go to the next step and repaint it over the winter to have a real show piece on top of a healthy ride it anywhere BMW classic.

Offered at $2,695

1994 BMW K75RT – SOLD!

1994 BMW K75RTMetallic Red
Stock # 6229628

Wow, is there a lot of potential here on this project bike! While it does need some work it is also loaded with value so pay attention to the list of needs and decide if you are the kind of do-it-yourselfer that can take it on and have some serious return for your sweat equity.

This machine has only 17,505 original miles and the paint is in fairly good shape overall but has some nicks and dings—especially on the mirrors  and the upper right side of the fairing; none prevent one from riding the bike anywhere. There are also signs the battery once leaked on the right side of the gearbox case. We do not see any indication the bike was ever wrecked, so the minor nicks and dings all are a result of a driveway related tip over. We have identified some small leaks on the forks, rear brake master cylinder, oil pump (very common), and by the final drive. Many of these issues may simply be related to the fact that the last owner just did not ride it very much in the ten years he owned it—only 10,000 miles to be exact.

It starts right up and runs and rides OK.  The rear shocks may not pass inspection due to a very slight residue of oil.  Some exercise may make this cease similar to the forks, but we would suggest working this into your plan of attack as both may be real honest-to-gosh seal leaks. Because of the rear master cylinder condition (poor and leaking) and that it appears it has original front brake pads that need to be replaced it did not pass the Maryland State Inspection road test; but it does shift and all that just fine.

On the positive side it came to us with the Factory BMW Tool Kit, BMW Owner’s Manual, Haynes Repair Manual, lots of keys, an oil filter wrench and a new BMW Air Filter to get you started on the service needs.  The bike has fair tires but a very nice aftermarket Windscreen with Adjustable Air Vent, Side-Mounted Air Wings, BMW Comfort Seat, BMW Cylinder Guards, Dual Optional BMW Gauges, ABS Brakes, the BMW 22 Liter Trunk and the latest version of the BMW Integral Saddle Bags that use full size keys.  It has BMW Heated Grips that appear to work fine and Original BMW 4-Way Flashers that don’t, at least right now.  The luggage alone is worth $1,000 but we bought it right and so can you so don’t wait too long to call or stop by and see this one!

Offered at a very reasonable $ 3,395–SOLD!!

1982 BMW R65 RT - SOLD!

1982 BMW R65 RTBlue
Stock #6386462

Now here’s a bike you’ve never seen before and while we don’t know when the complete BMW RT fairing package was installed it does appear to be an original BMW paint and pinstripe job with factory RT decal.  It may have been a European edition but the gauges are US so even we are not 100% sure of the machines history. A clean title of course.

Regardless, there is plenty of value here and a potentially good ride.  Heck it could even be a parts bike to turn your standard 1974 to 1995 BMW into a full blown RT model. The odometer shows 52, 595 miles and we suspect it’s accurate and original. No tool kit or owners manual are included but is has two ignition keys.

What we do know is this: there are minor cosmetic issues everywhere except on the fairing, which for the most part is fairly clean and complete with a serviceable screen and mirrors.  It has a Reynolds backrest attached to a stock BMW luggage rack and BMW saddlebag mounts but no bags are included. The wheels look fine and the front brake disc looks like a new aftermarket installation but the tires are no good. It has a bunch of assorted oil leaks but it does start up and ran, or at least when it arrived.

We don’t know the age of the battery but it’s remained on a trickle charger since it arrived.  The gearbox is making some noise but it does run and shift through the gears—we suspect the bearings. Again on the bright side the exhaust system looks to be in very good condition and while the gas tank is not paint matched it is clean inside and out.  Mostly we see a bike that fell on hard times and did not see much loving care the last few years of it’s prior life---so it’s now your turn to care for it.

Beyond all that we don’t have anymore history to share.  Like we said there’s a lot one could do no matter what direction that you go in and a complete RT fairing set is worth a few thousand bucks all by itself, so we’ve price this one accordingly.  Don’t wait too long as Bob said this one gets rolled out for our Annual Flea market on Saturday April 5, 2008.

Priced to sell fast at only $2,295. SOLD!

1974 BMW R90S – SOLD!

1974 BMW R890SSilver Smoke
Stock #950325

We just don’t get enough R90S’s to fill demand regardless of their condition so if you’re reading this and have one for sale please call Bob; otherwise read on as there is ton’s of potential in this nice, partially original and low mileage 1974 example; it only has 27,000 showing and we believe this to be accurate.  Paint was recently redone and while not a concours job it does look very nice.  Most else is fairly original and that is usually a big plus when considering taking on a project on any kind.

This bike starts, runs, shifts and rides fine although the carburetors could use some attention—maybe just a light cleaning and adjustment or a full rebuild will allow the bike to perform better. Now that we have rebuilt the front master cylinder and adjusted the calipers it also stops fine. There is plenty of small stuff to be addressed by the new owner: the front turn signal switch will kill the fuse sometimes, the starter switch is in need of replacement as there is an auxiliary one hidden up front, most of the rubber is old, the suspension is tired (we have a repro set available any day) and it certainly could use a good cleaning.

But again on the very positive side of this offering the serial numbers are correct and all match and the bike does not appear to have been crashed or neglected or abused.  Rims look good as do the brake discs, the fairing is not full of cracks like most and it has the right long stem black mirrors. The original BMW R90S handlebars, chrome gas cap and hard to find Motometer clock and voltmeter gauges are right, clean and seem to function fine.  The speedometer is good as is the tachometer but one needle does need to be replaced.

We’d like to tell you that it came to us with the tool kit, owners manual, rag, tire repair kit and all the original keys but it did not.  Sorry; but we can sell you most of those items separately should your desire be to make it 100% perfect in the end.  We will include a Clymer repair manual to get you started and we have original parts books and service manuals on hand as well as every part you might require.

Restore it completely or just do some of the light mechanical and electrical work required, maybe throw on a fresh set of tires even though they are very serviceable still and you could ride it to the BMWMOA National Rally in Gillette, Wyoming this July!

What ever you decide we think it’s fairly priced at $5,795.

1974 BMW R90/6 – FORMER PROJECT BIKE - NOW A USED BIKE FOR SALE!

Bol d'or Red
stock number 950325

We’ve been saying this for a year. This classic un-molested machine was originally purchased as a project for Bob—he just did not have the time.

Over the past year no less than 50 people called, emailed and came to look at this bike; a few left deposits only to run into financial issues.  It was crazy as with all that interest it should have been on the road last year.

Bob selected to leave the original project description and images up so you can see that text. Now it has become everything we said it would and more and you could own it without any effort---so read about what we’ve done! To read full description of the 1974 BMW R90/6, click HERE.

1998 BMW R1200C - SOLD!
1998 BMW R1200CIvory
87,365 miles
Stock #ZA61219

Sold here new in January of 1998 (no it wasn't Pierce Brosnan) this R1200C features ABS brakes this is a one owner bike that has been reliable and fun transportation since new. It has a long service history here and we just installed a fresh set of Metzler ME880 tires, installed a new screen, new front master cylinder, rear trans seal, output slave cylinder, replaced the rear shock with a low mileage stock shock, and changed the oil. That might sound like gobbledegook to some but it means we went through the bike and addressed and needs. The chrome rims have the usual pitting but cleaned up nice. We also re-dyed the blue leather seats and it comes with the leather covered BMW hard bags keyed to match the ignition. It passed Maryland State Inspection.

$4,295 SOLD!

1999 BMW R1200CA
1999 BMW R1200CAWow! Is this a great looking project bike or what? But please don’t be too easily deceived. Look at the images carefully and read the write up thoroughly as this one may or may not be for the average tinkerer without past experience rebuilding a crash survivor.

Yes, it is an ABS equipped R1200C that has a little over 25,000 original miles and aside from the damage caused by the accident it appears to have been fairly well cared for. Bob reviewed the estimate and bike and determined that you’ll need to locate some good used parts for the front end or you’ll probably need to spend about $4000 on parts to get this one back on the road. But used parts are out there and that’s part of what rebuilding a project bike is all about!

To qualify this particular project, we have NOT disassembled the front end to see if all the items on the estimate we prepared actually have to be replaced. In Bob’s opinion there’s a very reasonable chance that all the items are not damaged so there may be some substantial savings to SAFELY put this one back into service. As with any estimate we must identify everything potentially requiring replacement (accident or overhaul/rebuild) to give the owner or an insurance company an accurate picture so no one starts out thinking one thing and ends up funding another.

Here’s what Bob can share from his inspection: The forks are twisted; it was a car that hit the bike that caused this accident. There is 2 small dings in the gas tank, a good scrape on the right side valve cover and cylinder guard, there’s a much smaller scrape on the rear edge of the right muffler and even smaller one on the final drive housing, the rear right turn signal is broken, there’s some minor rust on some of the hardware due to exposure and a small assortment of very minor scrapes and nicks here and there that should be clearly identifiable in the images we’ve shared. You may or may not address those items.

Beyond that it appears that the entire driveline is in excellent condition, the ABS system, lighting, switches, etc all still work and cosmetically it could be ridden as you see it once the mechanical/safety issues are dealt with especially if you just took off the cylinder guards and recycled them at the local scrap metal operation. A personal inspection is encouraged as always but we’ve priced this one based on the simple value of just a few components. The buyer would get to purchase any and all new parts for this project from Bob’s BMW at 15% off BMW suggested retail for a period of 90 days from purchase.

With a bit of work and some parts you can be cruising by spring; so it’s offered at $2,895.

1990 BMW K75S
1990 BMW K75SOk, this one ain't that pretty yet but according to Bob who personally rode it for about 16 miles, it runs like stink and everything on it works just fine. Our apologies for the images on this one, the weather was really crappy when Bob took the photos. No driveline issues of any kind were discovered during a through inspection but the windscreen is yellowed (very common) the Corbin seat is in sorta poor shape visually, there is some minor damage to the belly pan and a small assortment of nicks and scratches in the paint.

Bob also says it needs a rear tire and is due for a full fluid change. The battery works great and has fired it up every time we tried even recently when it sat uncharged for 10 days, but it is 3 years old. One of the fork seals is showing it's age and at some point will require replacing, done now you won't have to interrupt your riding come spring

With a good bath using some assorted cleaners and polish it looks like it will shine up quite well so that means a good return on your investment of some low dollar maintenance items, a tire and perhaps that new battery plus your sweat equity and elbow grease over a weekend. This is a real easy basic project that should provide lots of riding pleasure for a long time to come.

Offered at only $2695 Hurry as we don't think this one will last long! Sorry, SOLD!

On this one, if you don't have the time or the interest we could take it back in after you buy it and do the above service work for around $1000 (plus the state inspection if you are a MD resident) leaving you with only the cleaning part when you take it home! We also set aside a very clean set of later BMW saddlebags (not key matched) that we could sell you for $395 to allow you to do some touring in 2007.

1983 BMW R100RT
This bike came to us after sitting in the original owners garage for a several years with the battery on constant charge. It cranks just fine, and the charging system appears solid but does not start up as it does not have enough power and the gas is also getting stale. It currently has NO BRAKES even though there is clean fluid in both resevoirs. The front brake discs do show their 83,000 miles and may or may not pass a Maryland inspection; the rear looks like it was replaced at one time and has lots of metal left. Overall the bodywork and paint is in darn good shape but there are a few scratches and the one small scrape on the left fairing panel. The custom seat looks good and feels great. Aftermarket shocks are installed plus BMW bag mounts, we did not get bags with this bike. It also has the European headlight switch and the BMW accessory socket and the BMW tool kit included. There are one or two very slight pits on the fork tubes that may or may not need to be addressed; we see no leaks at this time.

We think a full blown service, rebuild the master cylinders and possibly replace the front brake discs and some assorted rubber bits and you'll have great looking low dollar touring machine. You can also check with our parts staff on this machine to see if we have some used saddlebags to round out the package. The tool tray and original BMW tool kit are also still with the bike. The exhaust system looks perfect from need to end and carbs appear to be clear and ready for float bowl gaskets and fuel. The BMW bag mounts are very clean and even the valve covers look great. Upon close inspection Bob thinks the entire bike was repainted by someone that knew BMW paint as there are barely any stone chips, etc. That is simply another bonus on this project machine. The windscreen was replaced at some point with one of higher quality than BMW's that often yellowed; this one looks like new and finally it has the later, larger BMW left and right mounted fairing mirrors.

Offered up at a very realistic $2,395 to make it find a new home FAST!

82,226 one owner miles
$2795
This bike is in very nice overall condition and shows no signs of abuse, neglect or even minor accident or tip over damage and was well maintained during it's entire first life.  Your opportunity is to consider if you want to take a chance on the noisy gearbox.  We've seen and heard them like this before and generally it's either a full rebuild or a replacement, which could mean a $2000 bill from a dealer with new parts.  But this is a project bike and you might be able to do it cheaper or find a good used box; something we don't have on the shelf right now.  At any rate, it rides and shifts just fine and was ridden in here from 25 miles away.  Twice actually before the deal was done. There's a bit of rust on the frame around the battery box, but otherwise we feel it's a gem.  It has a Sargent's dual seat, BMW touring saddlebags, BMW clock & voltmeter, progressive shocks and fork springs, a good stock exhaust system, Parrabellum windscreen, good tires and very good original paint. Even the stock tool kit is included.

A one owner bike that was just not ridden very much.  It shows some assorted minor scrapes and nicks from parking lot altercations and such but is an otherwise very solid and serviceable machine if you don't have to have one that's cosmetically perfect.  A full annual service and some cleaners would make a big difference. It has a small Chase Harper tankbag, BMW saddlebag mounts, heated grips, hand guards and tires that are serviceable but will not get you through a season.  It starts and runs just fine. Get to this one fast as it is headed to our service staff for work if not sold promptly.

We've done a bunch of work (too much probably) and then discovered a small oil leak.  We're not doing anymore but maybe you'd like to do it, or just let it leak a bit.  We did assorted rubber stuff, a new front master cylinder, new exhaust gaskets, a full annual service including brake and coolant plus updated the brake hoses and connectors.  A great value one way or another.  It's got a new battery, good tires, clean stock exhaust, ABS of course with floating BMW front discs, factory tool kit and manual, heated grips and a Bob's wrist rest, BMW luggage rack and bag mounts, fuel & temperature gauges, and a very comfy custom seat. It does have minor some cosmetic damage on right mirror and lower. A cheap way to own a good looking sport touring machine with tons of life left in it and ready to enjoy.

$2595

This bike was in a minor crash over the summer and the customer selected to purchase a new BMW from us instead of fixing this one up.  We set it aside as it was a perfect one owner  machine before incurring a medium amount of cosmetic and some mechanical damage as seen in the photos.  The main frame steering stop is slightly bent but the frame itself appears to be perfectly straight.  We have ridden the bike several times to insure it stays fresh. It has a Corbin Dual seat and a Reynolds back rest and rack, progressive rear shock, ribbed full coverage fork boots,  almost new rear tire (needs a front), two accessory outlets and heated grips.  We are going to be starting the work the first week in January so if you'd like THIS project you'd better ask about it RIGHT NOW.  Once we start, we'll complete the process and it will be offered up in like new condition at the premium price it will command.

1978 BMW R80/7

Red and Silver
Stock #123696
82,226 one owner miles
$2895
Own a piece of BMW history with this purchase! Way back in 1978 BMW, Butler & Smith (US Importer at the time) and Luftmeister (big aftermarket accessory supplier) teamed up to create this touring package to help the new BMW R80/7 sell better against it's big brother the R100/7. It was a big success because buyers got a set of BMW saddlebags, a Luftmeister top case and a touring fairing that were all paint matched to the bike. Bob even has an original poster from the promotion. This bike has clearly been repainted but still looks great ands has all the touring gear plus the addition of a Russell Dual Touring saddle, Butler & Smith Cylinder guards, Dual horns, barbacks, a move-a-fuse set, stainless steel brake line, good tires, a motorcycle cover, stock tool kit, a Haynes repair manual and KONI shocks. Over the past several years the last owner spent over $1000 on things like a new BMW master cylinder, new BMW center stand, Dyna III ignition, new BMW speedo (replaced @ aprox 50K), stainless brake line, battery cables and small assorted stuff. The bike ran fine when we took it in and expect it will run fine when you take it home, but we feel it could use a wheel bearing service, fork seals and possibly a rear tire in our learned opinion and maybe even a few other things, but it has many years and lots of miles of service left.

1996 BMW K1100LT

Classic Black Metallic
Stock #302050
16,251 miles
$5395
This one is also headed to service so if you're interested in saving some money and doing the minor service work yourself NOW is the time to speak up.  The low mileage is original and the paint is just about perfect; it has a new battery and runs great.  There is a small oil leak (water-oil pump) and it could use a rear tire but it passed state inspection.  The front tire is excellent.  It is missing the passenger backrest and speaker combo but most of these fail anyway and get removed.  The stock BMW AM/FM cassette stereo works just fine as do the heated grips, electric screen (a used replacement is included as the one shown is very cloudy), ABS, fuel and engine oil temp gauges.  The stock manuals, tire repair and tool kit are included.  This will be a very nice bike at $6995 on our showroom and based on past history will sell fast once we've done everything we plan on so consider it carefully if you'd like a low cost touring machine.

1982 R100RT

Flat Black
Stock # 6441498
58,501 orig miles
$1095 (any less and we part it out)
Owned by a long time (20 years) customer since new who traveled the world in the Merchant Marines and took the bike with him as often as possible, hence the flat black paint virtually everywhere. Sure it looks rough and is in some ways, but it's basically all there in the boxes. The engine really only looks like it needs rings and minor valve work. Crank and cam look clean and rotate fine. Some damage to upper left body panel and the seat cowling is missing but the seat is in VG shape. there's one small dent in the gas tank.  It has BMW mags, clock & voltmeter, triple discs that look good. Almost new Metzelers and clean Koni shocks and BMW saddlebag mounts. No keys to the locks so you'll be buying one of those right off the bat unless you find a match in our spare key drawer. We think it's worth putting back on the road as long as you're not paying a shop to do the majority of the work. Basically a medium winter project.

1984 BMW R100RS

Smoke Grey
Stock #6227032
30,000 miles
$2295
This bike was hit in the rear end and then fell down in traffic. Steering stop on main frame is cracked but not broken off and the frame appears to be straight but we have not put a frame jig on it to confirm this. The stops on the lower yoke are not damaged. The headlight is intact as is the tachometer. It starts and runs just fine and has approximately 30,000 more miles than the odometer reading of 10,658 shows due to an earlier replacement. Seat hinges are bad on the Corbin seat and the subframe appears OK. The left muffler is slightly bent. Koni shocks look good. The clock & Voltmeter appear fine as does the Telefix brace, Wrist Rest set and dual Fiam horns. Bike is also equipped with dual disc up front and single disc in the rear and they look great. BMW rear rack is undamaged as best we can tell and the rear tire is good and the front is brand new. Even the tool tray w/cover, tool kit, tire pump and original owners manual included! This looks like a fairly straight forward project and is offered at only $2295!

1987 BMW R80RT

White
Stock #491352

1997 BMW F650 Funduro

Stock #A15739

$1895
A one owner bike that was just not ridden very much.  It shows some assorted minor scrapes and nicks from parking lot altercations and such but is an otherwise very solid and serviceable machine if you don't have to have one that's cosmetically perfect.  A full annual service and some cleaners would make a big difference. It has a small Chase Harper tankbag, BMW saddlebag mounts, heated grips, hand guards and tires that are serviceable but will not get you through a season.  It starts and runs just fine. Get to this one fast as it is headed to our service staff for work if not sold promptly.

Pearl White Metallic w/Blue pinstripe
Stock #493618

1985 K100T
All original BMW paint. Speedo replaced 6,384 miles ago. BMW bag mounts, BMW driving Light set, BMW Euro headlight switch, BMW belly pan, Hagon rear shock, Corbin Leather seat, BMW hand guards, almost new front tire. Seat cowling on side and radiator surround are broken. The muffler guard is missing. It has not run in about 1 year.  The paint is in decent condition and should polish up and mostly looks like it needs some TLC, a new battery, tune up, fresh fuel (although the tank smells fine), a full fluid change and a good ride to enjoy this solid machine.

Believe it or not this was a recent BMW lease turn in.  It started and ran fine when purchased in late this summer. It is missing the left mirror and has a very small (tiny) ding in the right side of the tank.  However it is loaded with good stuff like highlighted multispoked BMW mags, a Corbin seat (in average shape), Reynolds luggage rack, real enamel Motorsport tank and seat emblems, BMW owners manual and tool kit, heated grips, temperature & voltmeter gauges, very good tires,  BMW Euro headlight switch, CC products air scoop, a Progressive or Works rear shock w/remote reservoir, full coverage ribbed fork boots, BMW belly pan and a Staintune stainless steel muffler. Since we got it in the battery has gone south (it was weak anyway) but a brand new one is included in the price. This could be your next sport tourer!
