We don’t often have used trailers to pull behind your machine for sale without the bikes they came from, but when we do we only offer the best. This is a near spotless low mileage ZZ Trailer model designed to be pulled behind any touring motorcycle. It was originally attached to a BMW sold and serviced at Bob’s here in the greater Washington, DC – Northern, Virginia and Suburban and Baltimore region of Maryland . Without options these are still available today and prices start at $4,195.
This one was color matched to that beautiful 2005 Champagne Gold color (949) on the BMW K1200LT and there’s barely a blemish in the finish to be found. The wheels still shine, the interior barely shows any signs of use and you’ll find that everything works as designed and the lid seals easily and tightly. In addition to BMW touring machines you will frequently find this specific model gliding behind a Harley-Davidson, Honda, Victory, Yamaha or Kawasaki but they’ve been attached to every bike on the planet. You’ll rarely find one available used, let alone in this condition.
If you want all the technical details you can find them right here on the ZZ Trailer website. http://www.zztrailer.com/zz2000lt-trailer-for-bmw-riders/
This one includes the optional cooler, swivel hitch and has a Thule Bike rack installed (locks included) so you can take your other two wheelers along just as the last owners of this one did on a few of their trips. This one has had the tires replaced and the suspension upgraded to Progressive Shocks for an even better ride both for the motorcycle pulling it and the contents of the trailer. It even has a very nice BMW Automotive license plate frame for some extra bling should you have a BMW motorcycle to attach this to.
Yes, we know that some of you looking at will say to yourself “gee, if only it was in the color of my bike” but the value and savings here are so great that you’ll still be lots of money ahead even if you decided to repaint the trailer. Besides painting a trailer is a lot easier and less costly to do than a bike.
Bob also discovered a related accessory on the shelves(unrelated to this acquisition) that he felt could be bundled. We don’t know if it’s of value but it appears to be brand new in the box and it’s tagged at $169.85; it’s a PRODIGY electronic trailer brake control unit. We can include it for just another $50 bucks if you can use it or we’ll offer it up separately just like the BMW 3 series wheel that was once a spare for a custom sidecar rig Bob still owns.
So if you want to do some touring, camping or like Bob love to hunt and gather when you travel and it simply all will not fit on the bike, going or coming back then this beauty is definitely what you need. Heck, it could be a classy way to go to the grocery or hardware store. Hitches for most bikes built in the last decade are still available. Reasonably priced shipping available as well if needed to put a smile on your face.Color:
