Museum Hours

The Vintage BMW Motorcycle Museum is open many Saturday mornings and other times by appointment. All tours start at Bob's Motorcycles, where roughly a dozen machines and plenty of memorabilia is on display during the dealerships regular operating hours. We love sharing the behind-the-scenes tour here too. We head over to the Museum around 10:00 to 10:30AM in small to medium groups.

To make an appointment to visit the Museum or to plan a special group visit, please send an email to bob@bobsmotorcycles.com.

The Museum experience is provided FREE of cost to the public, courtesy of Bob's Motorcycles. It is fun not only for riders of ALL makes and models, but for all ages (responsible children only please**) and non-motorcyclists.. We've hosted, entertained, and educated regional groups and countless motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country and across the globe. And we've hosted a small number of private gatherings in the evenings as well.

The Museum is always growing, adding, and changing machines and displays. Currently there is over 4,000 square feet – with more to come in the years ahead – of BMW history. Currently there are over roughly 100 machines in the collection including antique, vintage, classic and modern BMW motorcycles and side cars; a beautiful BMW Isetta 300 mini-car; plus memorabilia, wall art, advertising, trophies, special parts, accessories, period riding gear, factory cut-away motors, rare signage, workshop tools and so much more is showcased! With so much to see one visit will not be enough; you will discover something new with every visit!

The history of BMW Motorcycles comes to life as you walk through Bob's stunning collection of BMW motorcycles ranging from BMW's very first motorcycle dating from 1925, classic machines from all eras of BMW's history including WWII; a never before ridden BMW from 1972 – a 50 year NOS or brand new R75/5; adventure BMWs covering several decades and models ridden around the world, one very special machine with over 600,000 miles; one of only two BMW Paramedic bikes delivered in the USA and BMWs ridden by legends like Gary Nixon, Bart Markel and Dave Aldana that made motorcycle history, limited production models and exotic customs and still much more!

Please note that only the ground floor level is wheelchair accessible. We are pleased to offer assistance as we are able for anyone who might need help with the single, wide staircase leading to about half the displays and machines on the Museum's second level and are working towards a plan to provide easier access to those displays in the future.

**Responsible means children and parents who fully understand what no touching displays or climbing on bikes means. Young kids who might or already enjoy what we have to offer are always welcome, but parents are always responsible. Like any museum, items on display are in many cases irreplaceable. We've created this museum without ropes or other barriers for your viewing, learning and photographic enjoyment.
